Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2020 That's quite nice, especially for someone so young. Looks like she already has a nice grasp of blending colors
mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2020 Blam! Blam !!! Oh, sorry, those birds are real. Nicely painted. If she wants to try ... here's a good one for blending colors!
TIER 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2020 Here's a picture of my PB trout that she could try. I don't know if its a good one for blending colors, but it would be impressive if she could paint that.
flytire 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2020 a few of these might persuade her :)
Piker20 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2020 Haha, Norman wins. She definitely knows the value of a pound. Much better at managing money than I was at her age so that's a good thing. I will show her the bluegill as that would be a good idea from the colour side of it. I've also had her looking at some of David Millers art. Amazing what he does with oils. mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2020 Hey! That's a Red Eared Sunfish ... and the toe is for a size reference. It's also a very nice looking toe, if I say so myself !!!
Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2020 If ya ask me the toe looks like ya had a Florida skunk ape in the boat with ya
mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2020 I would say, "Let's see pictures of YOUR toes." But I'm pretty sure mine are beauty contestants by comparison.
mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2020 Sorry for the hijack, Piker. Your daughter's painting is lovely. These guys are just jealous.
Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2020 My wife, 20 years later, still has artwork that my children painted hanging in the house. Even after a 100% remodel she rehung their art. Have that painting mounted in a nice frame and you will enjoy it for years. Mike, Spiders can't run around the corner on you can they?

The 'big hair bloke' she calls him.
