Very cool looking poppers. I'd be afraid to fish with them.

You can get over it... Would  I trade a well made fly for a chance at a fish with shoulders?  ... Every cast dude... every cast 🎣🎣😎😎

But they're so purty...heh heh 😎. Oh I would fish with them, but as soon as the first pickerel or blackfish shredded one, I would feel remorse 😜

other than to try something new, why not just spray the poppers vs dipping them if your only doing one color

I just brush paint my poppers with nail polish or airbrush lures with acrylic paint then in either case clear coat with sallys. So no haven't tried this technique.

I learned from the tyer who made the first poppers on FB that he didn't do this via hydro dipping paint. He did so by water marbling with nail polish.
