Baby Bass

Recommended Posts

well i'm no michaelangelo when it comes to creative painting but i had a go at a baby bass

i can see the back needs to be a little darker green and positioning the underbody forms closer to the hook eye

i added a little dubbing at the ass end to cover the marabou tie in wraps

You could try sponge printing the texture on there. It's easy, fun and it looks professional even if it's not. Still a nice looking fish.

In clear water, bass fry will be that "pale".  I think it matches a baby bass pretty darn close.

I agree, I think the color is pretty darn close. Being something less than a fledgling Michaelangelo myself, I see nothing wrong with the paint job. The paint job is not going to make it not catch fish, or something like that.

A little olive on top.  It should work as is, though.  Cannibals.

This quarantine may cause some to understand Bass eating their young.

Norm, what did you use for the underbody?  I think the paint is fine, looks like a fun addition to tying.

Great idea! I never would have thought to use those, like the way your mind processes possible use of items.

They should fish nice and they look plenty good, they may represent LM 2nd favorite food, after worm like meals
