Speaking of "not being nice" ... I just have to ask:

Mark, did you get that fur off the live animal, in your youth?

I missed this one, WTH. see my answer to Darrel. It goes for you too.

It does suck ... getting old.  But as has been stated, It's SO much better than the alternative.

Yeah, you don't have much to look forward to.

A free fishing, hunting and trapping license. No property taxes in Alaska after age 65. In Alaska, we get a longevity bonus from the state, between $75.00 and $250.00 a month just for getting old. And if your truck is old too, you don't have to get new tags for it every year either.

How's life in Alaska looking to you now Mike? I know, still not moving here.

Really? Looks like I'm moving to Alaska once I get old enough for a longevity bonus lol

No, you have to already be here before that. The bonus is designed to keep old bastards like me here. Don't know why they want old bastards like me to stay here. We're kind of grumpy and we hog all the good fishing spots.

Because you scare the pesky tourists away?

No, they actually want the pesky tourists to come here, me not so much. I mean it's good for my business but not so good for the fishin'. I think they want to keep old people here because traditionally they would make all their money up here and then go some place warm after they retire to spend it.

I admit I may have scared some tourists from my fishing spots.

No, because the tourists come and spend money to see the world's oldest man.

Show some respect you young whipper snapper! Besides, I'm not that old. If I live to 100 yrs. old, I still have 41 yrs. left.
