PMD Nymph from Barry Ord Clarke's website.

Nice fly TS.  I tie a few different versions of these, varying materials.  They do particularly well in a certain section of one stream near me.

I like those. I may have to tie up a few.

Thanks niveker and yes that’s peacock.  Sometimes I use ice dub as well for the thorax and it works pretty well.

Very nice, I'll sometimes use mole hair (a present from one of my cats).

Casual Dress

Unfortunately the only black ostrich I have is a little small so it is a little off.

The month is not over and we have been able to enjoy all the outstanding flies posted. I am especially partial to all the Wulffs that have been posted.

*Update* Walleye Flies are done hopefully they hold up which I have no doubt they wont.

Nice ties Landon, I would suggest just a little bit smaller heads on the next batch. I think the general rule of thumb is something closer to one eye width. But good for you with mini-business.

Wow, who'd a thunk.  Next thing you know, some crazy hermit will use woolly mammoth hair for fly tying!

Now I wish I had some silver monkey or some of Norms Sasquatch.

TS very nice. Did the Casual Dress originate with Polly Rosborough ?  I’m sure I screwed that name up ?
