Jacks Grampa 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2020 Anyone think this is gaudy enough to catch a Texas sunfish?

Lesg 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2020 I think it would probably catch anything that swims and eats bugs.
mikechell 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2020 Depends. If you're fishing in a Texas swimming pool (I heard they were lake-sized, everything being bigger in Texas), then no, no fly will catch fish in a swimming pool. Anywhere else you go, if there are Sunnies in there, you should get some attention.
Jacks Grampa 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2020 There are some salt water swimming pools here with coral Reefs and salt water fish but I don’t have any stainless hooks and don’t care to be shot for trespassing.
skeet3t 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2020 My mother caught bluegill/sunfish with a four foot piece of cane pole, four feet of line, bobber and hook with a piece of red cloth. Yes, that will catch fish.
