bdngrd 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2020 I use a lot of soft hackle flies as prospectors, or if I am clearly not matching a hatch. I have caught some of my most memorable fish on small drab soft hackles. I do not usually get excited about fishing them, but I have to admit, a soft hackle often gets the job done.
