SBPatt 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2020 Cheech’s Moodah Poodah V Had to downsize because I have no 2mm pink foam, which doesn’t bode well for my Pookie needs. Found this stuff at a craft store in a pack of 3”x5” sheets in assorted, very bright colors; a little thicker than standard 1mm. Probably should have gone with a chartreuse tag for a bit more contrast. hook - WFC Model 28 #12 thread - UTC 140 Fluoro pink tag - UTC 140 fluoro orange/UV resin rib - Spanflex black (1/2 strand) abdomen - I’ve Dun hot pink wing - deer hair bleached head/overwing - 1.5mm foam fuschia indicator - Parapost hot orange legs - medium rubber black Regards, Scott

Where do you get that stuff if you don’t mind me asking? It's Jonathan Kiley's stuff. The sheets are what he calls Exo Skin. The dragonfly bodies are pre-cut when you buy them, and he actually calls them Damzel Tails. They look more like dragonfly than damsel fly bodies to me. Look up Flyskinz, that's his company. TSMcDougald 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2020 Corixa/cruncher - I saw a video of Davie Mcphail tying this fly back in April. In the video Mcphail mentioned he was using natural white peacock, so I tracked some down on Ebay. That was in early April. I finally received it about a week and a half ago...
