Bob Reece’s hacklestacker attractor; appears to share genetic code on the front end with the Morrish May Day.  Made a few minor changes to the original, mostly due to availability of materials; doubtful that the fish will care.  Here’s the SBS if you’re interested.

hook - WFC Model 28 #12
thread - MFC 6/0 purple
underbody - holo tinsel purple
abdomen - micro tubing clear
wing - Congo Hair shiner tan
thorax - Prism dubbing purple
Head/indicator - packing foam white

Regards,
Scott

Nice Jeff.
How do like the MGC platform?
I'm still playing if you can't tell.
The olive/orange combo has been killer on the smallies.

That was my first MGC, so can't say much at this point. Pretty simple tie the way I did it. I'll do a few and fish them, then I'll probably have a more solid opinion.

A couple of comparaduns

Those are Haystacks. Great tie though. Fran put the wing about 2/3 up the hook shank- right between where you put it and the middle of the shank. I often tie them the way you tied them though.

Comparaduns are a ripoff of the haystack that only has one thing changed- the tail. Comparadun tails are made of hackle fibers.

Some of your very best, IMHO. Nice looking stuff, me thinks.
