I've enjoyed tying these on some nice, smaller hooks in the size specified (or at least close to specified) by Blacker. Nothing too fussy in these patterns and generally pretty easily found materials. Pig's wool or seal's fur (can't remember which) head was a little tricky at this size and the body hackle doesn't have a great taper. Need to source some good quality stuff soon.
