As was already said, you'll be fine. I think a valuable step is to be able to look at your work and Not be critical of it as a whole, but consider it feature by feature.  Then you don't simply go through the exact same process the second, and third time, as I think that would lead to a much slower learning process.  That skill comes in hand in a variety of places in real life, including writing (any sort, even computer programs, even art)--and even playing the game of "Go", if you happen to know what that is--I learned to play a bit of it on the Internet in recent years during the non-fishing season, so it is fresh in my mind.

The front hook on that swim coach yesterday was bugging me all day. After work I sat down and tied it again. Subbed some materials and I think it came out much better this time.  You all are twisting up some great stuff, very inspirational

head/collar - deer hair dyed golden olive

BWO sz 16. Soft hackle  *** nice hook Gaelic Supreme Ring eye soft hackle*** I think this is Old Hat’s pattern.
