Wednesday float trip

Recommended Posts

My wife and I had a float trip today on the Namekagon in NW Wisconsin. We went with the same guide we went with in early July. He really takes good care of us and is very knowledgeable. A little sun in the morning and mostly cloudy in the afternoon.

We fished Boogle Bugs, Murdich Minnows, Sparkle Grubs, and Tequellys.

But, 8 hours of fishing and 6 hours of driving have made for a very long day. Tomorrow is probably one of the realities of life......mow the lawn.

Real nice healthy lookin' smallmouth Tom. I tell ya those first two river pics almost could pass for some sections of the Au Sable where I fish. Nice looking water.
