Guest Report post Posted September 14, 2020 Looks like Sally is bearing down on us. Me not so bad I’m inland, but Sister on the Coast and others getting antsy! Grateful it’s not huge but going so slow gonna churn around and flood like he!! It doesn’t take much up here in the woods to loose power so gonna get both generators ready. Women folk can’t be without their TV. Got 2 110v window ACs to keep cool; gas stove. Community water got smart and got emergency pump generators after Katrina. We was outa power 5 days in Katrina; but that was 15 yrs ago. Had to cut my way in to daughters place. All these trees I planted 30yrs ago to keep from having so much grass to cut are haunting me now. At least they manage forrests around here for fire hazzard and it’s a different situation. Back in 2005 Katrina, he stood way up on the steps of the Coast Coliseum, Biloxi, and said the waves were gonna reach there. Nobody believed him. It did.
