You fish it dry or wet, or both?

Thanks.  I’d fish it as a dry; I don’t swing flies but I’d guess it would work subsurface, too.  Won’t get the chance to try it out this season; hopefully next year.

Regards,
Scott

Very nice fly Blumbugs.  Question ! Do you leave that small space behind the eye bare because of a specific knot you like to use ?

That small bare spot was actually a mistake, as my idea for the fly changed after I tied the collar in.

Thanks everyone for the support!

I thought it might have been a Catskill classic streamer tie.  Lol.  Very nice all the same.

@BlumBugs

Welcome, and nice fly.  Is that a steering wheel in the background? is your last name Gartside?

Yep! that sure is a steering wheel, I do a lot of tying in my truck.

Gartside!... if only

That's pretty great.  I inspect buildings and often have dead time between appointments and have thought about doing that.  I think I read somewhere that Jack had a vise that attached to his steering wheel, is that what you do?

I can usually get a few flies done on lunch, definitely worth it.

I use a container that I place on my lap, and my dyna king sits nicely on top.

And with 2 other containers holding my materials
