Another Adams Midge, this time on a true standard #22 (WFC Model 3)

I guess I'm relying on an older mustad "standard" length dry hook, as industry standard. Even that may not have been industry standard for all I know. WFC #22 model 3 "standard" length dry fly hook has the same shank length as the old #22 mustad 94840. Tiemco's "standard" length model 100 dry fly has a shank length 2xl of the old mustad 94840, at least in the small sizes. To me, that's not standard.

I think I like the ones you did first but I realize it might just be because I got used to seeing them that way. They all look good to me.

Still playing with different Mayfly patterns.

Hook- Mustad size 14 shrimp/caddis.

Thread- Danvilles Olive 6/0 70 Denier

Extended Tail- three brown micro-fibettes, superfine yellow sparkle dubbing, lemon yellow mallard flank feathers, cling wrap.

Wings- mallard flank feathers

Abdomen- Olive CDC

Hackle- Whiting Med. Dunn saddle hackle.

All comments welcomed.

tail - deer hair dyed claret 1 Tbs Rit Wine/1 cup water)
body - dubbing claret
wing(s) - deer hair dyed claret 
hackle - hen grizzly dyed Silver Doctor Blue (2 packs Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry/1 cup water)
