Photo is of the Hemingway realistic wings from the Frosty Fly site.
They have really good info on wings (also many fly patterns) but their inventory is low.

I noticed other shops such as fly fish food.com have better inventories.

Appreciate all the help guys.  Just wanted to try these.  Still no plan on detached bodies.  Gotta get a trout trip going.   One time was crappie fishing on RossBarnettRes up the road and came up on a tree literally hanging with huge mayflies.   Everytime some would fall the bluegill swarm underneath went wild.  Found a small brown popper that they eventually mangled as I filled my cooler.  Never been trouting in a hatch of mayflys. Have seen small caddis hatches and tail end of salmon flies hatch on Henry’sFork Idaho years back.  Only dry fly action opportunities has been on hoppers and blind casting humpys for stockers, Arkie.    Except some on Idaho trip; no joy on the high waters in Yellowstone.  Sure envy guys in trout country!

We have a hatch on the Tennessee River and tributaries around July. Locally it is called a willow fly. Fish go crazy on them. Was out one evening and Dad turned on the spotlight to watch for the shoreline. Like going through a blizzard!

Tried the mayfly bodies....oh well  Took easy way out foam reinforced with the 2 monos that become the tails all covered in Solarez.   Done as easing off the needle to get the curve.  Lil CDC before the grizzly hackle.  Wings cut outa ribbon and reinforced with CA glue off my fingers.   Gotta be fast and clean fingers later.   Maybe the mono in the body will help on durability.
