Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2020 I don't ship flies but I go to my favorite store, Dollar Tree, a couple times a week. Tonight these caught my eye. 10 for a buck.

Mark Knapp 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2020 There may be one or two draw backs to living in Fairbanks. We got no Dollar Store. Everything has to be shipped.
upnorthtier 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2020 if your shipping small to medium flies try a dvd case with a bubble mailer. I don't know how shipping works in the US but here in Canada it goes as a letter posting cost me 2$ I even shipped pike and salmon flies this way. hope this help
WJG 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2020 Canada Post will charge the letter rate for anything less than 3/4" thick. If you are mailing any amount or swapping a lot, finding slender containers will pay off. I assume USPS would have a similar policy.
flytire 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2020 ive never encountered a 3/4 inch thick mailing policy here with usps here in the usa
WJG 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2020 That's too bad flytire. It is a money saver here. But I imagine you still can buy 5 cent stamps.😎 I don't even know what a regular letter or card costs to mail here anymore. They stopped putting denominations on the regular stamp. Just charge you more for the same stamp next year.
