Chris_in_Louisiana 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2020 Not sure why, but I began thinking about tying a parachute-style Wasp pattern as I fell asleep a few nights ago. Finally sat down yesterday evening to attempt it. Needs a lot of work, but was fun to put together.

partsman 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2020 Jason, very cool! Especially the snowshoe emerger and the grizzly tail jig! Those are patterns I believe would work well here in Michigan. Very nice, keep up the good work. Mike.

caloosa bug 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2020 2 hours ago, Moshup said: “Petty’s Bight” I bet my local snook would love that one! I’ve tried a few flat wing streamers like that, but my buck tail flared out too much and became too bulky. Maybe I overdressed them, or cinched the thread too tight-too early. Or I didn’t wet-dry them enough to tame the fibers. It’s been a while since I saw my vice, but those are definitely on the list to work on.
