Olive Soft Hackle

Hook: Size 14

Abdomen: Olive rabbit

Ribbing: Copper wire

Thorax: Brown rabbit

Hackle: Hungarian Partridge

Notes: I hemmed and hawed about what to tie for at least an hour, sifting through books and materials but it took a long while before something hit. Finally decided on something that would be simple and fun.

I really like Poopdeck's nymph.  Really cool.

Flytier, I like your nymphs.  Had not seen those patterns before.

All of the Jan flies are great

PT/WD nymph.  I have to use up these barred wood duck flanks somehow. The legs are a bit long and I didn't nitice until I saw the picture. The black and white barring  is playing tricks on my eyes. I'll fish it regardless.

Hook - 14

Thread - black 8/0 uni

Tail - barred wood duck

Body - black pheasant tail

Rib - silver wire, also underwrapped thorax for a little extra weight

Thorax - peacock herl

Wing case - barred wood duck flank
