A Barry Ord Clark split wing parachute. Saw a video and had to try it. He tied it on a size 12, I went 22.

Hook:U002 size 22

Post: Ginger Z-lon

Tail: CDL fibers, med pardo

Body: olive superfine

Hackle: whiting Pro-grade saddle unique variant.

This wasn't tied to really imitate anything but rather to give the spilt wing post a shot.

@WWKimba I have absolutely seen some flys and pictures of flys on this forum that I would frame! Unfortunately none of them came from my vise yet.

Well ALL mine do - and their hanging on Mr. Magoo's walls!

Fathead Schminnow

Hook: Mustad 3407, #2

Thread: Uni-thread 6/0, white

Tail: Marabou, white

Flash: Krystal Flash, pearl

Body: Standard estaz, pearl white

Head: Stacked 2mm foam, red

Eyes: 1/4” Holographic, silver

Sits tail low in the water making it easier for a redfish to get it off the surface.

Ghost Shrimp

Hook: Mustad 3407 #4

Thread: Uni-Thread 6/0, tan

Antennae: Krystal Flash, copper

Eyes: Mono barbell, medium, black

Legs: Sili-legs, barred sand

Body: Palmer Chenille, small, tan

Tail: Ultra-hair, brown

Carapace: Clear Cure Goo, thin coated with Bone Dry UV resin

Weedguard: 25lb mono

Great fly when the fish are up in the mangroves or grass. The light weight and weedguard allows you to drag it through the cover without hanging up. Getting a fish out after a hook up is another matter...

Very nice tie on the Barry Clark split wing Sandan. On a 22 no less.  I think I could do alright tying on a
22 if they were just a bit larger. 🤓
