Very nice tie on the Barry Clark split wing Sandan. On a 22 no less.  I think I could do alright tying on a
22 if they were just a bit larger. ūü§ď

@Moshuplove Young Frankenstein. "frau Blucher?' Neigggggggggh. Thanks. I'd like 'em a bit larger too.

Dull and dreary day.  Couple if snow flakes here and there.  Finally sat down at the vise and started to get ready for spring.

Started with a March Brown wet.thumbnail-65.jpeg.0c67da38472b5093150973bf5a822573.jpeg

then realized I am out of Guides Choice Hares Ear

Also realized I was out Hungarian Partridge so I used some Wood Cock I harvested this year.  I think it will work.

Hook:U002 size 22

Wow, good for you on a 22.  I got a pack of 20's in my tying desk that I don't think have even been opened!

Caloosa... that small minnow pattern looks great... What size hook is that?

Thanks Capt! It’s a #1. This pattern has been my go to from #4 to 2/0. The zonker helps them nearly suspend nicely.

Scott, I like the twisted wire, did you swim these?  how does it effect the action and sink rate?
