Cricut machine hack

Not sure if if this is a good place to post this but if anyone has access to a Cricut machine you can set cut lines to what ever width you want down to a 1/16 of an inch wide. I did these in 1/8 increments.

Gonna make life a lot easier when making flies that need thin skin as a wing case or over the back of caddis nymphs!

That looks cool. Quicker and more uniform than a straight edge and rotary cutter or scissors.

Great idea.  I've experimented with cutting craft foam before, but hadn't considered thin skin.  I'll have to give that a try.

Hmm, my wife got one for a retirement gift this year, its pretty amazing what she can make. I never thought about this, but I may just have to give it a go. Thanks for the tip.

I remember someone saying fly tiers have a way  of making things difficult or something along those lines......
