bentflyrod 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2005 Got out to the river after work today for a couple of hours! Water was clear, current was a bit strong, but not to bad. Weather was beautiful. Sunny upper 60's little breeze and the steelhead were not where my fly was! If I keep this up I should have an awesome cast by trout season. The Tree's were a might bit hungry. I lost 2 tandem rigs and 2 stone flies. Still it was a good day! Next time! BFR

Vegetation is always hungry. Flies make easy prey. Next are hats, nets and flyrods. They just grab them on the way by.

bentflyrod 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2005 Well I did get enlightened on one area I found interesting. The many branches of the Clinton river. Above water, below water, in the river, on the side of the river. I think I found the North branch, South branch, And the Middle branch all in the same spot!
