I came across this pattern on another board and had to tie some. It's an English still water pattern that I think will work in my local lakes. I am a little concerned about the durability, but it's a simple, quick, tie.

Searching for the proper shade of Skwolive; this is a bit rich, not the dirty motor oil I was intending and it didn’t dye to the roots. I’ll give it a shot on deer and pronghorn hair.

I tied the hackle long on these looking for a little more movement.  The pheasant hen tail wings proved challenging.
