Vise Attachment To Base

Anybody know where one could obtain the vise attachment adapter shown in this picture?  Looks like it screws to the base with three screws.

Thanks.  Didn't think to realize that they sold them separately but at $70 plus international shipping a little too pricey for me.  Also, I imagine the insert is metric and would not fit a 3/8 inch stem very well but could probably be shimmed to work.

Maybe a pipe flange?  Threaded pipe with a 3/8 ID and a set screw?

This might work.  Used in building framework for laboratory equipment.

Ace hardware.   Used in concrete forming. They run rods thru both side of forms thru whalers and these donuts. Lil holes are to nail to wooden whalers.  Could use them to mount to something.  Use rod jack to tighten and cut rods after the pour and grout when forms removed.  Callem “donuts” in the trade, pencil rod clamp.   Prolly only have 1/4” drill em out 3/8 whatever...might wanta jazz em up by painting silver aluminum; they are cast steel and could rust with spilled coffee😝

I really should open a small part time machine shop for nothing but fly tying gizmos.  I could be the fly tying vise accessory king working partime from my garage.  Boy I wish I had more initiative but I don't so I'll just continue to shake my head while working for somebody else. With that said, I have also been thinking of making a bolt through base like a norvise I just don't know if I want a hole through my desk. I don't know your capabilities but all I see is a machine spacer welded to a fender washer. Maybe 3 or 4 bucks and under a leisurely hour of time.

Bought one kinda like this for travel.   Vise was rotary though.   For the price get what you need and extra tools????😉

Seems like a part that could be 3d printed. I could attempt to get a model ready and then you could send the file to someone local that has a 3d printer and have it printed.

I bought that same travelers vise kit as my first vise about 20 years ago. It was 19.99. My how time flies and inflation rises. Still have it.

This is what I did...you do have to drill a hole in your desk (at least one hole, I did two so the post on my vise can go through for height adjustment). Hard to tell in this pic but I drilled through the top of the C-clamp and table top, inverted it and secured with a bolt, fender washer and wing nut. I just slide the post in the hole and hit the set screw. I did this because I don't have a dedicated tying area/desk and had to build an extendable end table by my couch...This table top is a bamboo cutting board but I have a different top now.
