SBPatt 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2021 Muddled Three Dollar Dip Put a full collar on Nick Nicklas’ Serendipity variation. One of the benefits of using pronghorn - you can spin it with thread you wouldn’t normally use and not break it (sometimes). hook - WFC Model 11 #12 thread - Danville 6/0 tobacco brown rib - small wire gold body - tying thread head/collar - pronghorn Regards, Scott

SBPatt 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2021 Shakes Bealy (variant) Subbed sharptail for ruffed grouse since I have none of the latter; I’d be surprised if it makes a difference. A pretty basic pattern; I much prefer the Ice Dub thorax over the original Krystal Flash collar. Here’s a nice video if you’re interested. hook - WFC Model 6 #10 thread - Danville 6/0 tobacco brown tail - barred woodduck rib - tying thread body - dubbing amber thorax - Ice Dub orange (loop dubbed) shoulder - sharptail grouse Regards, Scott
