Mark Knapp 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2021 Some more pike flies. In Alaska, and possibly other coastal states we have immature lamprey eels (locally called sand eels) that spend the first couple of years of the their lives in fresh water. While they are there, they are a great prey species for pike and burbot. So here are some lamprey eel flies tied on size 5/0 jig hooks. They are from 8 to 10 inches long. danthebugman 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2021 I was in the Dollar Tree this morning and happened to see this drying glove. I have a chartreuse grizzly hen saddle that I thought would go well with it. Fairly certain the result will catch some fish 🎣.
