Took all the ingredients from the original and rearranged the order; the grizzly hackle does absolutely nothing so it may be replaced or omitted. Even so it should still work for it’s intended target - brookies; if there’s anything dumber that a cutt, it’s a brookie.

hook - WFC Model 6 #8
thread - UTC 140 red
tail - pronghorn dyed orange (1Tbs Rit Sunshine Orange/1cup water)
body - peacock herl/Depth Ray fluoro red
hackle - hen grizzly
collar/head - pronghorn dyed orange

Regards,
Scott

Love it. If you add a little silver tag at the back, that royal attractor will look like it sh1ts diamonds

Brewster Flats

Very nice - Moshup.  I was supposed to spend a day or two there this upcoming week at my Sister's,  but I'm afraid I'm too busy at work.

@niveker  Thanks.  I have more saltwater flies than I know what to do with. My stock use to come in weathered and beaten up after the season but the bass stocks have dwindled down so.  Sad.  Didn’t have to be.

Nice.  I love that hacklestacker style, I should try to get better at it.

@Moshup - one of these days I hope to soak a fly in the salt water, when I do I'll be sure to ask you what to tie.

When that date approaches let me know and I’ll send you some samples.
