Guest Report post Posted June 8, 2021 Gave the tails another try. The strait ones work well. The new one to mimic the plastic grub type tail is a PITA to glue. Not sure how it’s gonna work or last. Saw’em in a catalog. Cut them outa the rubber strap they throw away when they take your BP. Guest Report post Posted June 8, 2021 Well Sportsfans, No joy. Looks like problem with the stiff rubber and not enough body to the fly to flutter but only twist. Trimmed and closed the angle of the flap and extended further back....nada. Anybody bought the catalog stuff, seems softer/more flexible and tried it?
