SalarMan 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2021 Has anyone out there seen, tried or is tying on the latest version of the HMH TRV? The following is directly from Jon L. the head honcho at HMH. They all have the new black oxide coated, new grooves, Generation 3 jaws. As always...I'm interested in the range of hook sizes the jaws will handle. Is there a distinctive element that would tell you?
SalarMan 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2021 I don't know the timing Mark. At least a year ago I spotted the "Generation 3" phrase on a Larrabee site no longer functioning. It specified the black oxide finish and new grooves. Wish I could tell you more. I may try another site I visit from time to time to see what I can learn. If anything worthwhile I'll pass it along. Jaydub 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2021 You can order the HMH TRV with a C-clamp and a 9" rod and add a 4 lb base for about $630.
