Thread - Black

Tag - Flat gold tinsel

Tail - Mandarin (I used barred wood duck)

Body - Peacock herl

Wing - Yellow bucktail

Topping - Red hackle tips

Cheek - Edson brass eye

*Head - Painted yellow then overcoated with UV resin may also be used

Took some time to tie as the thunderstorms rolled through this evening.

@niveker  So now we’re getting real fancy and tying Jenning’s flies !  Very nice !  Was out with my dog Denver

when those Boomers came through.  Have had a lot of those the past week.  Needed the rain. The frogs are

very happy.

@Moshup - just looking for something a little different to throw at those Brookies, since they don't seem to be happy with my current offering, and the ISO's are the biggest thing hatching on the lower Swift right now, though only sporadically.  

Quabbin's filling up, may even get the spillway going depending on the amount of rain this week-end.
