Handgun owners

Recommended Posts

I love that Halo ring. It makes racking that slide really easy, not that its hard to do to begin with. It just seems to be where my hand wants to be when I reach for the back of the slide. I'm not sure I would put it on a carry weapon, assuming that your Glock is a carry weapon. More to snag coming out of a holster. If its a range type gun, I'd give it a try.

The handle is really comfy and feels like it was made for my hand.

Some pics of my new baby girl 🙂 Been wanting one for over 10 yrs and with the rod business having the best year yet I figured now is as good a time as any. It's not fully done yet, I'm still waiting on a real nice Hogue collapsible butt stock and Hogue rubber finger groove grip as well as a 3x magnifier, will post a pic once its fully done, but real pleased to have it to this point as of now.
So far it has AT3 Red dot, UTG quad rail, 86 deg front grip, pressure switch light. It's a Ar (556) 16" nitride barrel carbine.
Also added onto the wall another 2 feet extra, after adding another 2 feet last week. That way I could fit not only some gear, but also some of my knife collection. My knives are not high dollar ones, but rather they are very sentimental ones. Most were Dad's, Grandpa Clark's and Grandpa Murphy's. One of Grandpa Clarks is around 70 yrs old, and one of Grandpa Murphy's is at least 100 yrs old because it was his Mother's knife.

Well wasn't planning it, but just ordered a new one to add to the collection. I already own two 12g shotguns so was not looking for a new shotgun, but just got up this morning and found an email from PSA with a Dickerson 12g semi auto bullpup....I have always wanted a bullpup shotgun, and the price, well, could not resist. Plus, I have been paying $75 FFL transfers lately (they all are now here) but tonight found local one that is only $20. So just 0rdered this ..

Never heard of a bullpup shotgun before now.  Form follows function.  Not even surprised to learn that handling firearms in California can cause cancer.

Is the revolver in the picture a Colt?

It's a Heritage single action which has two cylinders with one shooting .22lr and the other .22Magnum. I bought that last year so I have something that I could shoot often with and not go through a ton of cash in ammo.

Another couple of modifications on the Ruger 22/45. I removed the Venom sight and replaced it with a Meprolight fiber optic/tritium bullseye sight. Also took shipment of the Tandemkross Game Changer Compensator and put it on this past weekend. It shoots like a charm!

Lookin' good Ken. My 3x red dot magnifier for the AR showed up today, but I'm still waiting on my Hogue grip & read stock for it. Damn Fed ex keeps changing the delivery date on those. 4 days in a row now they changed it.

I like that sight, but I think the red dot is gong back on. The bullseye sight is nice, but I'm thinking about hunting with the 22/45 and that bullseye sight is more for a carry gun where you need to acquire a target quickly. I think the Venom will be a more accurate hunting type sight.

HA...........You and I both know how efficient shippers are these days.

The funny thing is USPS has actually been on the ball lately, and now Fed Ex is just horrible. It's like these shippers take turns to see who can suck the most each month.

Fed ex finally got the last of my parts for the new rifle to me so quick pic of my new baby all done. Just finished installing the last of the parts (3x magnifier/Hogue butt stock and rubber finger groove grip and Tacticon flared magwell grip and rail covers). I didn't realize it till today but I guess my OCD also inadvertently applies to my firearms as well, my Glock matches my rifle

Very pleased with how this one turned out. Onto the next one, picking up another new toy Monday 😁

ar15'S  are called the "lego of guns" because their is so much shit you can add on/but for them. I have some 42 rd mags coming for it. Big ass mags, nothing I'll prob need, but nice to have loaded in case of SHTF stuff. Other than that, I think it's done, Been talking to a buddy, think we may build the next gins together, maybe AR10's from ground up.
