I like this style of fly. Kudos! I just gifted four dozen seal dubbing looped buggers in black.  I haven’t tied one using chenille in 20 years.   I use it as a searching pattern on a slime line when no trout are visible.

Added a shoulder for a little more buggyness and left the butt ends a bit long to make a head.

hook - DaI Riki 300 #8
thread - Uni 6/0 tan 
tail/shellback - deer hair
body - dubbing hare’s ear 
body hackle - ginger
shoulder- pheasant rump

Digging this a lot, looks super versatile. When you say pheasant rump, what feather in particular? I've got a skin and am having trouble seeing which feather this is.
