Raggedy Shrimp, tan:

Hook: O'Shaughnessy salt, #1/0

Thread: Uni-Thread 6/0, tan

Tail: Bobcat tail

Antennae: Krystal Flash, copper

Eyes: Mono V-eyes, black

Legs: Sili-legs, sand barred

Body: FTD Sand Crab Dubbing, sand crab (dubbing loop)

Ribbing: Wire 0.3mm, copper

Back: Scud back 1/4", clear

Shell: UV resin, tinted coffee brown

Weedguard, Mono 25lb

WING CASE: THIN SKIN - BROWN SPECKLED

THORAX: LIFE CYCLE CADDIS DUBBING – 60% BROWN  40% GREEN - PEACOCK ICE DUBBING

Hook - Mustad 94840, 94833, 94835 or equivalent, size 10-18
Thread - Black
Ribbing - Fine gold wire
Body - Pheasant tail fibers
Wing - Brown hackle fibers
Hackle - Cree
 
The above is just one of many different recipes for a Fluttering Caddis. 
A Google search will find the best one for you to tie.
 
This fly can be tied using different body and wing materials as well as different colors.

Saved the best for last lady of the month - Helen Shaw.

Waters - Helen Shaw was called the “First Lady of Fly Tying” by Arnold Gingrich (1903–1976), founding editor of Esquire magazine.  We started this month with Mary Orvis Marbury as the Grand Dame of fly tying - why not end with the First Lady.  This fly was featured in Helen Shaw's Flies for Fish and Fisherman, The Wet Flies.

Tag - gold flat tinsel

Tail - red floss or yarn cut short

Body - peacock herl

Hackle - black or dark grizzly

I seem to think the guys here are just like the guys I used to break balls with when I was working...and they were a TOUGH but fun bunch.
