Johnnymcq 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2016 Hi, Brand new to tying and I got a whole bin full of products from someone who is deceased. I'm trying to identify a few things so I know what I've got here. Can someone help? Metz Feathers: black. Same size pack as a grizzly saddle dyed olive but feathers look different. Plus another brown. I can email or text a picture to someone. Thank you! Joun

Cold 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2016 Yeah, upload the pics to a hosting site like Imgur, then put em up here. Sounds like bog standard hackle, but whether it's neck or saddle, hen or rooster...that'll require a picture. And it *is* a significantly different usage for the feathers, depending on what exactly you have.

JSzymczyk 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2016 nope. parasites feed on living hosts. I think the word you want is scavengers.
