Original was tied with strands of blue and green rayon floss topping; omitted for lack of material and general laziness. hook - Mustad 9671 #4 thread - Danville 6/0 black rib - oval tinsel silver body - chenille white wing - hackle ginger (2 pairs - can also be tied with 2 white hackles inside 2 ginger for a paler look) hackle - ginger overwing - mallard flank mash barb, start thread; tie in rib, wrap to bend strip end of chenille and tie in; wrap forward to 1 eye width back from eye, tie off/trim measure (2x hook length) 2 pairs of hackle; tie in divide hackle fibers and counterwrap body/wing; tie off/trim tie in (folded) hackle by tip; wrap, tie off/trim stroke fibers down, cover with thread prep mallard flank flank feather, measure (tip gap width past bend) tie in/trim, whip finish, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Wish I could tell you; bought it years ago, don't remember and card doesn't have any markings on it.
