  1. I bought Charlie Craven's beginner book a couple weeks ago. It has alot of great flies. I feel the instructions are clear and very well done. Highly recommend it. It has Hares Ear, Pheasant Tails, Copper Johns, Prince's, Wulfs, Humpy's, etc.
  2. Thanks guys for the fast reply. I have been leaning twards the HMH but just wasn't sure. Thanks again for the advice!!
  3. I am torn between the HMH Spartan and the Peak vise. I am a beginner so I am wondering if I should buy the HMH to learn on or the Peak. I guess my thought about it is, maybe I should start with a basic vise and maybe if I get "hooked" later on I could learn how to use a true rotary vise with the peak. I think maybe it would be best for me to learn the basic style before the more "modern" true rotary style. I know both vises are great from all the threads I have read here. The only thing I can't figure which would be best to LEARN to tie. Let me know if I am totally over thinking it or not. Thanks for any help!!!
