Looks great... Funny thing - we do a lot of fly-fishing during shrimp runs locally - and all of our "shrimp" flies look nothing like a shrimp but the fish just shred them (always at night...).

International Fly Tying Symposium 2018

Really enjoy the event, and looking forward to meeting Ruben Martin from Argentina this year. I believe it's his first tying event in the US, and I'm going to sneak away from my table to watch a portion of his presentation! Ruben's site: https://rubenmartin.com.ar/en/home/
I'm also honored to have been asked to give a presentation (Mayflies) and tying demo (Guide Flies), and both are new ones for this season. I'm teaching a tying a class on Articulated Streamers and Emergers (how about that combo!), and love the small-group feel that is still possible at these big shows.
Hope to see many of you there, and here's a quick video that talks a little about it for this year:

I'll be there too, but I don't know what my schedule is. I've attended several times in the past, as a attendee, but this year, Chuck is giving me 1/2 a table to demo. I guess he was feeling bad about not having more southern tyers in the show. Hopefully, I won't embarrass myself....
It's a longish drive for me, and will take me all day Friday to get there.
