Guest Report post Posted November 26, 2003 I've tied a few as high floating dry's. I've got the Shane Stalcup book "Mayflies: Top to Bottom". He's big on using the biots for bodies. Shoe, that fish I got Steve's little one his first trout on came on a biot bodied BWO on the 'Pyle at the island. They are something to thing about for up there. I was thinking of some small wets with biot bodies too. They won't trap air as much as dubbing and should get into the surface film pretty easy. You could also use heavy wire hooks to drop them down on bigger hooks, then do your slow strip for the faster water. Maybe even a bead head to get it down. I like the look of the biot body.
