  1. Has anyone fished with one of these rods yet? I really liked the Mojo Bass Spinning Rods. They were a decent price and decent quality, my only problem ever with them was the guide inserts would break or just come out. I'm looking to get an 8wt and these rods are sitting right in the $150 range. http://stcroixrods.com/products/fly-fishing/mojo-bass-fly
  2. Warning not for the squemish... My link
  3. Yeah, the only one that seems to work is browse by tag...
  4. Those look great! You have an excellent command of colors.
  5. Shannon Streamers! They have a wonderful swimming action in the water. And are really, really simple to tie. I got the one in the picture from a fly swap I did, and it made me tie up a bunch more in other colors.
  6. I just got some congo hair from the dungeon and have been tying up a bunch of congo hair baitfish. What do you all think? Suggestions. I tie my flies to be fishing flies. This one was tied on a mustad big game 2XH/STD 0.015 lead wire wrap and gsp 100 denier white (I've been too impatient to wait for mono--local fly shop doesn't have any yet) Thanks
  7. I'm big fan of gold and silvers in murky water.
  8. Hi! I'm new to the board, sorta--I've been using this as a resource for the last year (about the length of time I have been tying). Anyway, not a great tyer, but I think I can hold my own. And I love smallmouth bass. So....hi.
