Turned out they did not have what I needed but they had lots of other fly fishing gear of all types and bang zoom I came across a replacement for a long lost Loomis GL3 5 wt rod in "used but excellent" shape at a price I could live with. In just a few days it was delivered and fully met the described condition. As a "one of" experience it was fully satisfactory.
