  1. Fly Tier's Bible, The Benchside Reference, and the Orvis Fly Tying Guide are the big three that I would suggest. I have all three and find myself searching through them on a daily basis looking for new patterns.
  2. I have to agree with you there futzer. When I first started tying I used a lot of craft store stuff and later started using fly tying materials from the fly shops and my flies tie better and look better.
  3. Thats ingenius. Looks like I have another project to work on, lol.
  4. Killer fly. Keep up the good work.
  5. Thank you to everyone for the welcome back. I'm glad to be back and back to tying flies again.
  6. Hi guys. I used to be a member on here a couple years ago. My old account is inactive now, but I'm just getting started to tie flies again after a little break. I'm 26 and live in NC and I am a proud father and husband. I have a 3 year old boy who loves hunting and fishing. At the moment, I am a custom call maker by trade. Laid off a while back. I enjoy fly fishing not matter what kind. Glad to be back around and seeing some new and some old faces.
