Camp'n'fish 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2017 Does anyone know of a good place to fly fish on Anna Maria Island? I'll be here for a week, so I figured I'd ask. Thanks.
Bimini15 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2017 I would suggest going to the floridasportsman forums to find very localized info.

Capt Bob LeMay 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2017 Once yoube been over to floridasportsman, make a point of visiting myfwc.com for info on licensing... While there look also for info on red tides since that area has been plagued with them recently (and if a red tide is ongoing -you can pretty much forget fishing...). Saltybum 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2017 If the water is clean the beach may hold a variety of fish like snook, trout, pompano. To the south may be good at the pass depending on tides. I've only been there in summer and don't have any advice for the winter.
