Bit tongue in cheek but they might work in the height of summer. Nothing else seems to.

As long as you don't start selling them by the dozen in Styrofoam containers..... You are right and they will more than likely liven up an otherwise dull summer afternoon.

Now if you start tying up a lot of egg flies and marketing them in little glass jars then I will start to worry...
