agn54 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2019 Very nice! Do you bend the hook shank on your spoon flies?
Guest Report post Posted January 5, 2019 I didn't have to bend these heavey catfish hooks but did bend the lighter hook ones of the past.

Actually, don't use YOUR favorite fly tying scissors, either.
ggmiller 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2019 Do you glue them to the hooks, or is it epoxy? Like that idea!
Guest Report post Posted January 6, 2019 When you cut the shape leave lil tabs on each end for thread to hook, coat the hook with thread first, then UV resin. Restart thread for tails or weed guards. SallyHansens for the glitter on inside and coat glitter side and add paint drop eye. Saves on resin. I Krazyglue the ends before resin so no slip off tying the other end. Dries fast. fshng2 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2019 I like em. I imagine they flutter like metal spoons only higher in the water column for same retrieve speed.
