Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2017 So cabelas was having a sale with free shipping and I just picked up a 6 wt. I ended up buying the sage 2200 for 139.00 shipped to my door. This happens to be the most I've ever spent on a fly reel. The reel came today and my first impression is that I stole it for the price. What I really like is it has a very functional drag knob that's numerically marked. I really like this feature. I'm still waiting for a good deal on fly line to come up sometime during the winter so further testing will be on hold for the time being. So far so good. I buy cheap rods and cheap reels but don't mind paying up for the line. I think the line is the most important part of the equation so I'm going to patiently wait for a great deal on a premium line.
