Very nice catch. Haven't had much opportunities as of late. 7 day work weeks kills that as well as a lot of social. On my plus with lots of bad weather I have got my drone to where I can get outstanding pics and vids that are out of the world. Hover track and circle while I fish no operating drone good for about 39 minutes per charge

i just started reading "wet flies" by Dave Hughes.

made it through the first chapter tonight.

seems ok.

(but what do I know?)

anyone else read it?

and how many years do I have to tie before I am no longer a Noob?

I don't think in terms of time but rather in knowledge and proficiency. Each and everyone has gone beyond noob if you purchased or acquired tools and materials and stick with it. My thoughts on it and I don't consider you as a noob nor myself though I self learned with perseverance and with this site for tips tricks and guidance.

Try this pattern. Ends in 3 inch overall great for bass easy and relaxing. I don't use mono eyes anymore. Stretch cord from Wal-Mart. Soft pliable yet gives same look. 2 pheasant neck feathers for tail brown scud Back for shell grizzly hackle legs silly legs to match zonker.

great pattern and super nice tie Tom.

I don't have any zonkers at the moment

(on the list with hooks)

I have been really busy lately, I should be back to tying in a week.

I just figured something out.....
anti static sheets for your dryer rubbed on work area, hands, tools, plastic material bags, vice.....heck, on everything helps.
I have another use for them and had one in arms reach, tried it and ....cool, it worked!
I was looking for the tying tips post thread with the search box, but couldn't find it.
(was going to post it there)

someone probably did it before anyway.

happy easter all.
