EuroOrBust 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2017 Buying bulk beads for euro style nymphs, do I get gold, copper, or black? Do people find bead color really matters?

Philly 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2017 Depends what I'm tying. For bright colored nymphs or caddis pupae, olive, gray or black nymphs I like black. For tan and brown nymphs I like copper. Don't use silver much unless the body is white or pearl.
David 82nd 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2017 I usually use black , my thoughts are the Hot spot color has more bearing then bead color , but there's so many options you can have fun mixing it up and getting creative , they are fun to tie

Fisherboy0301 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2017 I use gold for 95% of my bead heads. I like the way it looks. Fish do too.

onebadmofo 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2017 If you can't get the color you want, use nail polish to color them any (and I mean any) color you need or want.
