Nothing very special here. A general search pattern.

Coon Tail

Hook: #18 dry fly

Thread: Danville 70 denier gold

Tail: Raccoon guard hair taken from the tail

Abdomen: White wool mixed with black sparkle micro blend

The second fly needed to have a smoother underbody of thread, maybe then the horse hair would have laid down tighter and smoother... <_<

Those are really sweet Bruce. I particularly like the last one. Could you put small walk through on that dragon flie up for me. That is something I really want to tie. I see a lot of large bass taking those from the surface where I live and do not have a pattern or walk through in any of my books.

This is just the short list. Don't want to be a huge nuisance.

"Everybody's" got Saltwater hooks and bead chain eyes. Sizes 4-8 for Carp and other warm water species living in Missouri River backwaters and creeks. You can visit me for more if you'd like. Thanks
