  2. I'm so sorry Crouncher my english isn't as good as I would like... Claudio died last monday. His funeral will be celebrated today, on Sulmona (AQ). I thank you all for your messages of condolence, even by his family and his friends. Thank You
  3. I feel obliged to inform the community about the disappearance of our friend Claudio D'Angelo. Many knew him as a good friend, others knew her beautiful salmon flies. Claudio was a founding member of the Italian School of Flyfishing (S.I.M.), He leaves a huge void in our hearts and I hope that the whole community of fly fishers want to join our condolences.   4. Thanks Rockworm, I think I'll try the deer air way that You suggest. I have never tried this way (flat by squeeze between fingers ). I don't know if I had able to tye this fly in comparadun style but I'll try... I certainly add a picture. Thanks a lot
  5. Hi guys, I'm trying to realize an imitation of Paraleptophlebia marginata (Turkey Brown?) dun female but i've some doubts about wings. I've initially thought to make it in mandarin duck (tuft or section) but i don't like the result. The wings of P. marginata dun appear grey and very streaked :wallbash: Please, anyone can help me? Thanks
  6. Hi Agn, unfortunately, the city of L'Aquila and nearly towns have serious damages because of the erthquake. Some friends have lost their houses and now are living in tents. Our Government is working harder to rebuild towns before winter comes... All of us wish the people of L'Aquila can start again to live normally and soon
  7. Very nice fly Dave... It's look like an emerger i usually tie for fishing in pools or when the trout are very difficult to catch... But your is better More accurate i think.... very very nice

Titan: Yuor Italian is very good, certainly better than my English Futzer: You have tasted one of the most alcoholic liquor of the world (i think): "latte di suocera", very very strong. Years ago it boil my tongue :shocking: I'll be happy to show you the place where i fish and my flies, as soon as possible.   14. Hi Fred i like tie every fly can be useful for my fishing action. I generally fish in small stream on the Appennini as Pescara river, Tirino, Sangro, Nera. There you can fish with dry flies or nymph (about central hours) so i try to tie every fly can be useful for my fishing action. However i love tying small flies that imitate baetis and rhitrogena; i think those species are the most many in our rivers. I wish to post some pictures of my flies but i don't know how... can you help me?
